With less than a month to go before the Glee episode entitled, Faith, airs, we thought it’s about time to let you in on the music that will feature. It’s been billed by Sony Music as a George Michael tribute episode, so would feature many of his songs – and they’ve said they are hoping that the exposure on Glee will catapult the re-released remastered version of Faith to #1 in the US charts.
Now, given that Sony is the official record company for Glee, you’d think they would know what’s what. They will know what songs the cast have been recording for use in the show. So far, though, the information we have on the Faith episode suggests that not much George Michael music will feature. This is what we know…
- The REM song, Losing My Religion
- The Barbra Streisand song, Papa can you hear me?
- The George Michael song, Faith
Of course, that’s only three songs. There’s room for one or two more. The Buzzin’ team will keep you informed if we hear anything else. We’d been hoping Ryan Murphy would pick Father Figure to feature, with a cameo by Tania Harcourt-Cooze née Coleridge – but it seems it wasn’t to be.
